Restaurant Roundup: St. Paul's Art Deco Bar returns, LynLake Brewery closes

🌮 El Sazon Cocina & Tragos, the full-service restaurant from the team behind famed Eagan gas station taco spot El Sazon, is temporarily closing Oct. 5.

• Owners said on social media they will take time to "review and reimagine our concept."

🔨 Kingfield eatery Nighthawks is also temporarily closing for a refresh and menu revamp, according to a release. Its last service will be Oct. 11, with a planned reopening date in early November.

🥃 St. Paul's historic Art Deco bar is back. The Commodore Restaurant & Bar in Cathedral Hill recently reopened after a five-year closure; it's currently serving snacks and drinks with full service set to begin early next month, the Pioneer Press reported.

🎂 Nothing Bundt Cakes is set to open a bakery in North Loop Nov. 1, according to a release, with additional stores opening later this fall in St. Anthony Village and St. Louis Park.

🥦 Attention, vegan turkey fans: The Herbivorous Butcher aims to reopen by Thanksgiving, owners updated this week. The vegan butcher shop was devastated by a kitchen fire in May and continues to fundraise for its rebuild.

🥙 Brim, the gluten-free, seed oil-free cafe across from Bde Maka Ska, is set to open its second location on the Edina-Richfield border this Thursday, per the Minnesota Star Tribune.
