It looks like "The Bachelor" isn't the only reality dating show using the Twin Cities as a backdrop for a search for love these days.

What we're hearing: "Love is Blind," the popular Netflix show that asks couples to commit without considering looks, appears to be filming here.

How it works: Men and women from the same metro area are put into separate "pods" where they can talk to — but not see — their date.

  • Once engaged, the couple meets in person and moves to an apartment in the city they live in for four weeks.
  • They say "I do," — or "I don't" — at a televised wedding during the finale.

Zoom in: Fans have reported sightings of a crew filming at local haunts such as Pryes Brewing and Luna + the Bear, the Star Tribune reports.

Between the lines: The production company behind the show, which is now in its sixth season, put out a casting call in the Twin Cities a year ago.

  • The 78-question application included questions like "Why are you a catch?"

The bottom line: While there's no official confirmation that the shoots are part of "Love is Blind" — a spokesperson didn't respond to Axios' request for comment — the sightings are fueling lots of speculation on social media.

  • "The timeline lines up too well for it to not be them," a social media user who posted a photo a film crew outside of a local apartment building wrote.
