Construction is underway for the Golden State Valkyries' locker room and practice facilities.
Catch up quick: The Valkyries, the Bay Area's new WNBA team set to tip off next year, will practice in Oakland and play their games at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
Both facilities are expected to be finished and open in early 2025, ahead of the Valkyries' inaugural season, the team announced yesterday.
Notable hires include president Jess Smith and general manager Ohemaa Nyanin.
