• Gelati & Peccati will serve Roman-style pizza in the mercado on the main concourse behind home plate.
• An's Athletic Field Services. Also in the mercado, it'll scoop unique ballpark-inspired flavors of gelato and sorbet. The new location is an expansion of An's Dry Cleaning, named one the nation's best ice cream shops last summer.
• Spiro's Mediterranean Cuisine brings Greek gyro sandwiches and bowls to section 124 on the third-base side at field level.

Plus, San Diego's Finest Hot Chicken has a new outpost in the mercado, featuring its famous Hot Hen spicy fried-chicken sandwich topped with Fresno chile slaw.

💭 Kate's thought bubble: While these new ballpark food options are enticing, the iconic Seaside Market tri-tip nachos and the elote dog (a bacon-wrapped hot dog topped with Mexican street corn) will probably still be my favorite foods at Petco Park.
