The Spurs announced Friday that Sinclair Broadcast Group will air 22 regular-season games on CW SA, giving local fans more opportunities to watch for free.

Why it matters: That's 13 more over-the-air games than last season, expanding access for fans without a $19.99-per-month DAZN subscription.

Fans can watch CW SA with a digital antenna, without cable or a streaming subscription.

Catch up quick: The Spurs announced their DAZN partnership in September, promising to name a local broadcast partner later.

KENS 5 aired nine games last season, while KENS 5 and CW SA aired a combined 16 in 2024-2025.
All 22 CW SA games will also stream on DAZN, Spurs spokesperson Lucy Kaneb tells Axios.

The big picture: Spurs ticket prices rank among the NBA's highest, making free viewing options especially valuable.

What's next: CW SA's first broadcast is Tuesday's home game against the Sacramento Kings, per MySA.

The full broadcast schedule has not been released, but fans can check here for updates.
