Pearl lands Nori handroll bar

Nori Handroll Bar, a Dallas-based Japanese fusion restaurant from San Antonio native Deukbok Cha, will make its local debut at Pearl next spring.

Zoom in: The restaurant across the river from Pullman Market will add Japanese and Korean flavors as a nod to chef Cha's heritage.

• The menu includes temaki handroll sets, à la carte options, omakase and traditional izakaya dishes, or shared plates.
• The fish is sourced from Japan, Europe and elsewhere around the world, according to a press release.

State of play: Nori will open in spring 2027 at Coopers Row, a luxury apartment complex. An exact opening date hasn't been announced.
