Condor pours funky wines in San Antonio's St. Paul Square

👋 It's Megan! Condor Wine Bar opened this month in St. Paul Square and offers a classy setting for a relaxing night out.

The vibe: It's moody and retro — think textured dark green walls, colorful abstract art and candles on every table.

• The atmosphere works well for date night, a girls' night out or even a professional happy hour with colleagues.

What to try: There were three wines available by the glass when I visited. I enjoyed a skin-contact Chardonnay from Santa Julia ($15), a funky and fresh sip from Argentina that felt surprising in all the right ways.

• The fresh sourdough bread ($12) served with a soft and salty chili butter was great for snacking.
