Surprising absolutely no one, it's hot outside. Luckily, San Antonio has plenty of ways to have fun without melting.
Why it matters: School starts soon, but families looking to squeeze every last drop out of summer still have time.
Catch up quick: On Tuesday we told you about "Tejano Legacy" at the Briscoe Western Art Museum. Between that and its companion exhibit, "Selena Forever/Siempre Selena," you can happily spend a few air-conditioned hours brushing up on Texas history.

🎭 Catch a show at the newly renovated Magik Theatre. "The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show" runs through Aug. 9.

The bottom line: Sure, it's brutally hot — but that's no excuse to spend your day folding laundry or scrolling Instagram. Go let someone else's AC do the heavy lifting.
