Dough Baby is getting a permanent home in Olmos Park.
Why it matters: The popular Pearl Farmers Market vendor — known for its kolaches and cinnamon rolls — is opening its first brick-and-mortar bakery on McCullough Avenue.
The latest: The shop opens Saturday with a 9am ribbon cutting. The first 50 guests will receive a free cinnamon roll. There will be raffle prizes and other giveaways for everyone.
The vibe: The grab-and-go bakery will serve its signature baby cakes alongside seasonal pies, cookies, quiche, coffee and tea.
Between the lines: Dough Baby will continue selling at the Pearl Farmers Market each weekend.
Zoom out: It's the latest Pearl business to expand to Olmos Park. Lifestyle boutique Tiny Finch is also opening a second location at 201 E. Olmos Drive, with an October debut planned, per the SA Business Journal.
