👋 Megan here! I think Boerne might be meant for brunching, and Sunny's is the perfect spot to do it.
Dig in: The all-day brunch restaurant is across from Cibolo Creek and close to downtown Boerne. It offers an expansive menu of breakfast and lunch options, with well-executed mainstays and healthy choices.
What to try: The loaded bagel ($18). I was impressed with the bread's quality and light crisp. It's stacked with a fried egg, avocado, chipotle mayo, arugula and melted cheddar. (I ordered it without meat, and found it plenty filling.)
It also comes with a side of fruit — always a bonus.
Pro tip: After your meal, walk over to Main Street for a day of antique shopping.
What's next: You'll soon be able to get this little slice of Boerne without leaving the city. Sunny's is opening a second location at The Rim this spring.
