Tea Around Town is now rolling through downtown.
The latest: The New York-based tour company launched in San Antonio in February.
How it works: Ticket prices vary depending on how many snacks you'd like, but start at $69 per person.
- Guests are picked up on East Commerce Street near Fogo de Chão and guided to assigned booths on the upper level of the pink bus, which is set up like a cozy tea room on wheels.
- Three-tier stands of snacks are arranged at each table, and a staff member serves tea tastings, from earl grey to Christmas in Paris (a chocolatey vanilla tea), throughout the 75-minute ride.
- You get to keep the cute tumbler your tea is served in.
The vibe: It was fun without feeling rushed or overstimulating, as many tours or Instagram-forward events can be.
- In between soft jazz songs, a host shares bits of history about downtown landmarks along the route.
- Each of the finger sandwiches were tasty and fresh — I was surprised by how filling they were.
Pro tip: Don't feel pressured to eat all of your snacks, you'll get a to-go box (which I was unaware of).

Between the lines: Tea Around Town drew mixed reviews when it hosted influencers last month, with complaints ranging from mechanical issues to less-than-picturesque views. But it appears the operators have worked through those kinks.
- Our ride went smoothly. Not every part of downtown is going to look touristy or trendy, but the route is still packed with notable spots.
The bottom line: It's a sweet way to spruce up your weekend and live out your "Bridgerton" dreams.
