"It's a mix of Mexican and Peruvian foods, and everything I have ever eaten there has been absolutely fantastic," he said. "The drinks are also phenomenal.
While I didn't try a cocktail this time, I can vouch for Rick's review.
What to try: Guacamole ($12.99) is always a must. It's creamy and bright, with a portion generous enough to fill a standard molcajete.
The enchiladas suizas ($18). The trio was packed with juicy chicken and topped with a vibrant green tomatillo sauce and plenty of melted cheese.
Served with perfectly fluffy Mexican rice, it was a filling meal — I even had an enchilada left over for lunch the next day.
The bottom line: Discovering hidden gems is even better when it comes from our readers.
