👋 Hey y'all! It's Madalyn with a new coffee spot to check out — Kafe Krave.
The latest: It opened at the end of January on the first floor of the Heritage Plaza apartments in Southtown.
The vibe: Kafe Krave is a blend of moody and modern. Emerald green tufted booths curve into nooks that feel tucked away and almost lounge-like. Gold accents and high ceilings elevate the room, while the quiet atmosphere keeps it remote work-friendly during the day.
The shop often stays open late, shifting into cocktails and leaning even further into an upscale feel.
What to try: The caramel cookie butter iced latte ($7). I liked that it had all the fun sweetness up top — cold foam with plenty of chunky cookie crumbs for texture — while the coffee underneath kept a satisfying bitterness.
What's next: It's one of three featured drinks this month, so you've only got a few days left to try it.
If you miss it, chances are March will bring another fun featured lineup.
