San Antonio weekend events: Car show, concha throwdown

Friday

🚗 Check out the San Antonio Auto and Truck Show, running through Sunday at the Henry B. González Convention Center.

🍻 Enjoy live polka and Oktoberfest bites at the Brats & Brews Fall Festival, 6-9pm at the Japanese Tea Garden.

• Tickets cost about $19. Kids under 12 get in free.

📚 Head to Booked, a community silent book club and social hour, 6:30-9pm at Flower In Flour coffee shop in Leon Valley.

Sunday

🎂 Bake a cake for Cakewalk: A Sunday Cake Swap, 10am-noon in the St. Paul Square courtyard.

• Store-bought cakes are welcome, but organizers ask that they be from local bakeries.
