It might feel like everyone is already sick, so we're sorry to break it to you, but: flu season is just about to get underway.
Why it matters: You can avoid the worst of the illness by getting a free flu shot on Saturday through Bexar County's University Health System, at the Freeman Coliseum, 8am-noon.
Zoom in: The vaccine is free, but registration is required. Appointments will be drive-thru only.
Children must be at least 6 months old to receive the shot.
What's next: The county will also host free flu shot events at the Dub Farris Athletic Complex on Oct. 11 and the Gustafson Stadium on Oct. 25.
