In case you missed it,Isidore — the fine-dining gem at Pearl's Pullman Market — landed on the New York Times' new list of the 50 best restaurants in America.
Why it matters: The honor not only extends Isidore's streak of accolades but also puts San Antonio's dining scene on par with major cities like New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.
How it works: More than a dozen Times reporters and editors fanned out nationwide, dining anonymously as paying customers.
"We eat like you do, with the same hope for a meal to remember, to be welcomed and delighted," Brian Gallagher wrote for the NYT.
What they're saying: Food writer Priya Krishna praised every course, singling out the bread and butter, Wagyu and a yuba dish she said "tastes like heaven."
💭 Madalyn's thought bubble: I dined there in May and agree — the food and hospitality left our table nearly speechless, save for a few "mmms" and "try this."
