The vibe: Tucked inside the Canopy hotel, this riverside restaurant blends European charm with vacation-like hospitality.

• It's perfect for the summer weekends when travel is off the table — just enough ambiance to feel transported, but you're still home in time to tackle your Sunday reset.

What to try: El Paseo margarita ($16) is spicy-smooth with cucumber and a jalapeño kick.

• I haven't stopped thinking about the short rib quesadillas ($20). They're rich and melty with an earthiness from the huitlacoche.

The bottom line: I'm not saying you have to go on a Sunday, but with a name like Domingo, it feels meant to be.
