H-E-B continues to reign supreme in San Antonio, according to the most recent data from Chain Store Guide.
By the numbers: The local grocer took more than 50% of the market share in the San Antonio area in 2024, up from 47% in 2022, the data shows.
- Walmart took the No. 2 spot with 27% of the market share, down from more than 30% in 2022.
The bottom line: H-E-B's rise comes as a surprise to absolutely no one. But we love to love H-E-B.
