Where to celebrate Selena's birthday in San Antonio

As with every Selena birthday, San Antonio is gearing up to celebrate the late Tejano legend whose music and legacy are deeply woven into the city's culture.

The vibe: The lineup changes every year, but there's always a cumbia circle waiting to happen.

We've rounded up a list of events happening on Wednesday to mark what would have been her 54th birthday.

🪩 Warm up your washing machine moves for the free Bidi Bidi Party at Pearl Park, where you'll find music, dancing and shopping, 5-9pm.

🎤 Karaoke your heart out at Be Kind and Rewind's free Selena event, 10pm.

Themed drinks will be available for purchase.

🎥 Head to Flix Brewhouse for a special screening of "Selena," the 1997 biopic starring Jennifer Lopez, at 6:45pm.

Tickets start at $7.50 and include a slice of birthday cake.

🖌️ Sip, sing (if you want) and paint at The Modernist's tribute, which gives guests the chance to create a Selena-themed piece of art, 6:30-9pm.

Costumes are encouraged.
Tickets cost $50 and include supplies and a drink.
