Texas forever: Bride honors Spurs and Longhorns in wedding mehndi

What they're saying: The Chicago-based couple celebrated their wedding in Cancún in December with a weekend of festivities. For Walji, who is also a University of Texas at Austin grad, weaving in her Texas roots was a must.

• "I think I'm on the way to convincing him to make our way back to San Antonio when it's time to buy a home or start a family," Walji says.
