It's time to go shopping for holiday gifts. Here are some ideas for how to keep your dollars in San Antonio.
Local shops
Feliz Modern: This colorful and fun gift shop has locations at Pearl and in Olmos Park.
Rancho Diaz: Another Pearl shop, this spot carries home decor, kitchen supplies and plenty more.
Bexar Goods Co.: Find this leather goods shop in an Airstream at the SA Yacht Club.
Belle & Union Co.: This Broadway boutique has holiday cards and more home items.
Mockingbird Handprints: This spot sells lots of local art, cards, jewelry and more. Find it in Olmos Park and at the Blue Star Arts Complex.
Plant Shoppe: This St. Mary's Strip location is the perfect place to go for that person with a green thumb.
Nowhere Bookshop: Stop by this independent bookstore in Alamo Heights and skip the Amazon order.

Holiday markets
Pearl: Shop local goods every Wednesday evening, starting this week through Dec. 18 from 5-9pm.
Winterfest: The new holiday destination at The Rock at La Cantera will have a holiday market every Friday and Saturday from 6-11pm, starting this coming weekend. Winterfest runs Monday through Jan. 6.
Holiday Art Market: This Tobin Center event with more than 100 vendors runs from 10am-5pm on Saturday.
SAMA Holiday Market: The art museum's free event will take place from 10am-4pm on Nov. 30.
Holidays on Houston Street: The Christkindl-style market will run Dec. 13-15.
