"1923" filming starting soon in San Antonio

Zoom in: Beginning Monday, portions of downtown streets will be closed as San Antonio steps in for 20th-century Montana. Closures include:

• Broadway between E. Pecan and E. Houston streets
• E. Travis Street between Jefferson and North Alamo streets
• And Peacock Alley.

• Most businesses in the affected area will remain open, though some may close on Thursday morning.

The latest: Casting for background actors for the San Antonio shoot is already underway, but Legacy Casting is still looking for extras for a Sept. 23 shoot.
