Acadiana Cafe's beloved Cajun recipes live on after restaurant closes

Beloved Cajun restaurant Acadiana Cafe closed its doors Thursday after serving San Antonio for 38 years, but the recipes will live on in the kitchens of its fans — even those who never had the chance to visit.

Catch up quick: Acadiana announced its closure in July. Hacienda Vallarta Restaurant Group is set to take over the West Side location.

Acadiana decided to share the love by printing recipe cards for diners to take home.

State of play: Thanks to X user @TexitDarling, the recipes are now available online for those who couldn't stop by Acadiana one last time.

She shared photos of the recipe cards in a thread that's been reposted over a thousand times.
