Paleta-themed pop-up bar opens in San Antonio

• All cocktails are $18 and are garnished with a mini paleta.

Dig in: I tried the Halo and Luna Flair and decided they're equally delicious, especially as the paleta starts to melt into the cocktail.

• The Halo is a mix of maraschino liqueur, crème de cacao, pineapple and lime, topped with a pineapple paleta. The coupe glass it's served in adds a touch of sophistication for a date night.
• Then there's the Luna Flair — a tequila-based concoction with passion fruit, agave, prickly pear and a lime paleta. Despite its moon-inspired name, it sips like a sunny day.

The vibe: A trio of acoustic musicians filled the room with classics like "Como Me Duele" during media night Thursday, as guests mingled on the rooftop with its stunning views of the downtown skyline.

• Papel picado and paleta-shaped neon signs decorated the sleek bar, transforming it into a lively summer spot.
