You have your tickets, a game plan and outfits ready, but what should you bring?

Why it matters: Fiesta only happens once a year, so you need to be prepared to make the most of it, rain or sweltering shine.

The big picture: Heading into the crowds with only your Fiesta crown and party vibes may suffice, but we've rounded up a list of must-have items to get you through any snag.

If you go: Be sure to know the bag policy for the event of your choosing, as they vary.

What to pack: Considering the threat of oppressive humidity, water and maybe even a Liquid IV are must-haves.

  • A portable fan is also a good idea. This one has helped Madalyn through recent Fiestas.
  • A power bank can come in handy after hours of low signal and group photos drain your phone's bank.
  • You can never go wrong with cash.
  • Restroom necessities like travel-size toilet papers and hand sanitizer may make the dreaded Porta Potty experience a little easier.

Last but not least, bring a good attitude when joining thousands of party-goers.
