Two, one, oh : Con Huevos tacos

👋 Megan here. I have a new favorite spot for breakfast tacos: Con Huevos in the heart of Dignowity Hill on the East Side.

Details: On a recent visit, I had the Carmen specialty taco ($4.50). The flour tortilla is stuffed with potato, egg, cheese, avocado and cilantro.

• It comes with its own unique salsa on the side.
• I also had my old standby bean and cheese ($2.50), which you can't go wrong with.

Like any good breakfast taco around here, it benefits from a fresh, homemade tortilla and plentiful fillings.

The intrigue: The Lupe specialty taco ($4.50) is good for when you want to try something new.

• It comes with a homemade spinach and cactus tortilla and is stuffed with beans, veggies, cilantro and queso fresco.

The bottom line: San Antonians are loyal to their favorite taco joints, but you should go here if you haven't already.
