Last weekend of "Wicked" in San Antonio, plus more things to do

Here's what's going on around San Antonio this weekend.

Stretch out during a free yoga session hosted at the new Frost Plaza from 6-7pm Thursday.

Enjoy slider and beer pairings from 7-9pm Thursday at Weathered Souls Brewing.

See "American Idol" star Haley Reinhart perform at the Carver Community Cultural Center on Thursday at 8pm.

Cackle with comedian Russell Peters on Thursday at the Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club. Doors open at 6:30pm.

  • General admission tables, with seating for two, start at $110.

Bid adieu to Pig Liquors, which has been a Southtown staple since 2010, with a "Buy Bye January" sale on Friday. The store closes on Jan. 27.

Celebrate National Bird Day on Friday at the San Antonio Zoo with animal chats and enrichment activities.

  • Day tickets are $25.62 for adults and $18.57 for kids.

Catch "Wicked" before it flies out of the Majestic Theatre. Tickets are available for showtimes throughout the weekend.

Party David Bowie style at Wonderland of the Americas, where Monsters & Mayhem and Kings of Horror will host a party for the iconic singer on Sunday (11am-5pm), the day before his birthday.
