Labor Day weekend is almost here, and New Orleans has plenty of ways to fill your holiday.

🌈 Southern Decadence, the city's largest LGBTQ+ celebration, starts Thursday with events around town. The parade rolls at 2pm Sunday from the Golden Lantern.

🪖 Wednesday marks the 81st anniversary of the end of WWII. The National WWII Museum hosts a free reception and ceremony at 5pm.

🎶 Tipitina's has its last free Friday night show of the summer.

🧘🏽‍♀️ The New Orleans Health & Yoga Festival is at Hotel Peter & Paul this weekend. Day passes are available.

🎂 The Louisiana Children's Museum has its 40th birthday party Saturday. Tickets are free, but you need to RSVP.

🧜🏼‍♀️ The New Orleans Mermaid Parade sashays along the riverfront at 6:30pm Saturday with giant puppets.

🎤 Tyrese, Dru Hill, Ginuwine and more will be at the Smoothie King Center on Sunday for the R&B Super Jam tour.

Of note: The Krewe of Dolly moved their second-line from this Saturday to Sept. 25. The city plans to proclaim it "Dolly Day." (Press release)
