Imperial Woodpecker opens in City Park, plus more food news

The big picture: Imperial Woodpecker, owned by Neesa Peterson, replaces the previous snoball stand at the park. See the hours.

• The stand has a limited-edition snoball called the Bloom Ball served in a souvenir cup with facts about the park's flowers and pollinators, a press release says.
• It's Peterson's fourth location. Imperial Woodpecker also will sell snoballs at Tad Gormley Stadium on select dates.
