Axios New Orleans wins four regional journalism awards

• Axios New Orleans' Hurricane Katrina anniversary coverage stood out.
• In one project, reporter Chelsea Brasted worked with Brown University professor Elizabeth Fussell to answer a question New Orleanians have asked for two decades: Where did everyone go?
• The story won first place for data use in digital storytelling and first place in graphics and infographics.

Zoom out: Brasted, reporter Carlie Kollath Wells, editor Jen Burkett and data visualization reporter Kavya Beheraj placed second for newsletter and digital-first writing for their newsletters about Katrina migration and memories.

• Wells and Burkett also won third place in digital service journalism for their three-minute mayoral voter guide.
