Paul Rudd to film movie in New Orleans

• The "darkly comic drama" is based on Nathaniel Rich's book "Losing Earth," Deadline says. It's set at a Florida beachside resort in 1980, when 20 experts gather for a climate change conference.
• Tom McCarthy, known for his work on "Spotlight" and "13 Reasons Why," is directing.
• The film is hiring background actors through Caballero Casting.
