👋 Carlie here. Commander's Palace hosted me yesterday for their martini lunch during Tales of the Cocktail, and boy was it something special.
Zoom in: They served martinis that incorporated Crystal hot sauce. One used pepper pulp on the glass (sort of like a Tajin rim) and the other was a pickle and hot sauce martini.
They were to die for.
Drink smart: The "La-Ti-Da!" (the one with the spiced rim) is on the regular menu.
Good news: Commander's is now open for lunch on Wednesdays, in addition to its usual Thursday and Friday.
