I finally found the "propitious mango" ice cream that's been taking over TikTok.
Why it matters: I wanted to see if the hype was real.
The big picture: These Chinese-made frozen desserts rose to popularity because they are tasty and pretty (they look like mini versions of the fruit).

The verdict: I enjoyed the mango and peach options. They had a thin white-chocolate coating and creamy, mousse-like ice cream inside.
- Were they fun? Yes. Were they the best ice cream I've ever had? No.
