Last weekend in February? Let's close it out with a good time (and apparently a few festivals).

😋 South Beach Wine and Food Festival: The annual food festival is back for its 23rd year, with more than 100 events across Miami-Dade and Broward and featuring renowned chefs and celebrities.

  • Local chefs Valerie Chang of Maty's and Zak Stern of Zak the Baker are among the chefs hosting events.
  • Thursday through Sunday.
  • Limited tickets are still available and range from $40–$600.

👩‍🎤 We Belong Here Festival: A two-day music festival on Virginia Key billed as "an exclusive 21+ dance music festival" refined "for the world traveler" and pays "homage to local culture."

  • The festival, which features headliners including Bob Moses, Duke Dumont, Tchami and Gordo, brings together music, art and food, through partners such as Smorgasburg.
  • Saturday and Sunday from 4pm–2am.
  • Tickets range from $69–$399. Table reservation packages begin at $2,500.

📚 The Black Bookstore: Browse vintage Black books, magazines and ephemera at this pop-up bookshop and reading room.

  • Organized by Black Miami-Dade, the "community literary space" will open at the Freedom Lab at 4300 NW 12th Ave.
  • Saturday, 11am–4:30pm.
