Zoom in: More than 70 rappers, singers, DJs and producers will perform across eight venues during the festival that is expected to attract 5,000 attendees.

• Organizers say Chreece has invested more than $500,000 in over 700 artists since its founding, putting money and attention behind artists who have historically had fewer avenues to monetize their work.
