Devour Indy's summerfest starts today, serving up meal deals at nearly 150 area restaurants.
Why it matters: Life is expensive right now, so Devour is a great opportunity to treat yourself and soak up the last bits of summer, until Sept. 6.
Yes, but: It's easy to get overwhelmed by this many choices.
- So, we scoured every menu for the best bites at every price point all around town.
👆 North
Under $25: The Roost, Nora and Fishers, $19/person or $35/couple for coffee, snack and entree.
- What we're ordering: Fried green tomato benedict, where a fried green tomato is served on a toasted biscuit and topped with pimento cheese, a poached egg, hollandaise and spicy garlic sauce.
$25-45: divvy, new American, Carmel, $29 for three courses.
- What we're ordering: Baja fish tacos with a side of elote dip and pita.
$45+: noah grant’s, steakhouse, Zionsville, $50 for three courses.
- What we're ordering: Seafood cioppino, a tomato stew with shrimp, salmon, grouper and mussels. And we're definitely spending the extra $5 to get the espresso martini for dessert.

Under $25: Big Lug Filling Station, American, Garfield Park, $19/person or $35/couple for three courses.
- What we're ordering: Ricky Bobby wings, coated in a house spice rub, oven-roasted and tossed in Buffayaki sauce. Shake and bake!
$25-45: Pizza & Libations, Italian, Bargersville, $35 for three courses.
- What we're ordering: Cannoli cake!
$45+: Up Cellar, steakhouse, Bargersville. $45 for three courses.
- What we're ordering: Steelhead trout, with white bean puree, butter beans and salsa verde.
👉 East
Under $25: Sahm’s Tavern and Sports Bar, American, Irvington, $25/person or $45/couple for three courses.
- What we're ordering: Sahm’s Schnitzel, a breaded pork tenderloin, fried and served over a bed of spaetzle tossed in a dill butter sauce. Substitute fried cauliflower for a vegetarian option.
$25-45: Taxman, American/Belgian, Fortville (locations in Bargersville and downtown Indy have slightly different menus), $40 for three courses.
- What we're ordering: Crispy Brussels sprouts, fried and served with goat cheese, sliced almonds and hot honey.
$45+: Charleston's, American, Castleton, $55/person or $70/couple for three courses.
- What we're ordering: Barbecue baby back ribs.
👈 West
Under $25: Shindig, American, Plainfield and Indy, $20 for two courses.
- What we're ordering: Mike's a fun guy pizza, parmesan cream, roasted mushroom, red onion, sun-dried tomato, mozzarella, provolone and scallion.
$25-45: The Prewitt Restaurant and Lounge, new American, Plainfield, $35 for three courses.
- What we're ordering: Wagyu corn dogs.
$45+: Macizo, Latin American/Mexican, Westside Indy, $65/couple for three courses + drinks.
- What we're ordering: Rajas con queso, a warm, creamy dip made with mascarpone, ricotta and parmesan, folded with sweet corn and roasted poblano peppers. Served with toasted house-baked focaccia.
⛲️ Downtown
Under $25: Slapfish, seafood, Mass Ave, Carmel, Fishers and Noblesville, $23 for two courses.
- What we're ordering: Lobster tots.
$25-45: Doc Crow's Southern Smokehouse and Raw Bar, American, downtown Indy, $50/couple for three courses.
- What we're ordering: Doc’s hot fried cheese curds, fried white cheddar curds and crispy jalapeño rings, served with chipotle crema.
$45+: Vida, new American, downtown Indy, $115 for chef's tasting menu or $75 for four courses.
- What we're ordering: Whatever they're serving. The chef-driven menu changes daily, but we trust 'em.
📍 Midtown
Under $25: The Quarter, American, Broad Ripple, $20/person or $35/couple for three courses.
- What we're ordering: Fried Shrimp Po Boy, which comes with a choice of fries or tots.
$25-45: Delicia, Latin American, SoBro, $40 for three courses.
- What we're ordering: Carnitas con mole, smoked carnitas, mole poblano, fried plantains, white rice, grilled jalapeño and lime crema, with tortilla.
$45+: Diavola, Italian, SoBro, $85/couple for three courses ($120 with bottle of wine).
- What we're ordering: Tricolore pappardelle, fresh housemade pasta with basil pesto, mozzarella pearls, kalamata olives, tomato and basil.
