Even with big multiday events like the Indiana State Fair and the IndyFringe Festival in full swing, Indy still has more to offer adventure seekers this weekend.
- From a Black film fest to free ballet, here are our picks for some fun in the (hopefully) sun over the next few days.
📽️ Spend the weekend watching documentaries that inspire socially conscious discourse during the Indianapolis Black Documentary Film Festival, Friday-Sunday at Indy Art Center and Kan-Kan Cinema.

🌭 Fill up on food, fun and fundraising during the 22nd annual St. Thomas Aquinas SausageFest, 5:30pm-midnight Friday and Saturday.

- From 10am to noon, kids will be able to climb on construction equipment, watch demonstrations and play in a giant dirt pile.
🎵 Sing with total strangers and make lots of new friends during the free Community Sing! musical gathering at Unitarian Universalist Church of Indianapolis, 10:30am-12:30pm Saturday.
- Voluntary donations will benefit the MLK Center.
🚲 Roll your troubles away during a beginner-friendly 4- to 10-mile group bike ride along Indianapolis' trail network during the free No Spandex Required Ride.

🩰 Take in a free outdoor performance when the Indianapolis Ballet presents Ballet in the Park at Taggart Memorial Amphitheater alongside food trucks and family activities.

🪩 Put on your bell bottoms and head back to Conner Prairie at 8pm Saturday when Symphony on the Prairie goes full disco with an outdoor tribute to the Bee Gees.
