Three days of bike racing, community rides and all-ages fun are rolling into the Circle City this weekend.
Why it matters: The annual IU Health Momentum Indy is continuing its run as one of the Midwest's top cycling festivals, and some of the nation's best pros are pulling up to compete.
What's happening: Reimagined this year, the action begins at 6pm Friday with 160-meter sprints through the Bottleworks District.
- The Momentum Indy crit races will run laps around a circuit course through Bottleworks and North Mass Ave from 1-9pm Saturday.
- The Parkside Throwdown from 11:30am-3:30pm Sunday at Indy Cycloplex, home of the Major Taylor Velodrome, rounds out the weekend.
Plus: Pick up some momentum of your own with a 30- or 60-mile community ride during the Honor Major Taylor Fondo, 7:30am Saturday.
- Cost to participate is $115.
If you go: All of the races are free to watch.
