Indy Ignite ready for MLV Championship run

Driving the news: Indy finished the regular season with a league-best record of 23-5, including going 13-1 at home inside Fishers Event Center, to clinch the top seed in the four-team championship bracket.

• No. 1 Indy faces No. 4 Omaha in tonight's semifinal at 7pm for a rematch of last year's semis. In 2025, the Ignite upset the top-seeded Supernovas in a five-setter.
• No. 2 Dallas takes on No. 3 San Diego in the other semifinal. A win tonight puts Indy into the championship match at 3pm Saturday.
• The winner takes home a million-dollar bonus.

Zoom in: Four Ignite players earned All-MLV First Team honors this week.

• Opposite hitter Azhani Tealer, setter Mia Tuaniga, middle blocker Lydia Martyn and libero Elena Scott claimed four of the All-MLV team's seven spots.

By the numbers: Tealer is a two-time First Teamer, finishing fifth in kill percentage despite missing four matches.

• Tuaniga ranked second in assists per set (11.49) and second in aces (25).
• Martyn ranked second in the league in kill percentage (49.8%) and fourth in efficiency (35.5%).
• Scott's strong defense helped Indy lead the entire league in opponents' efficiency (20.7%).
