Record Store Day returns Saturday and shops throughout Indianapolis are turning up the volume with live music, giveaways and discounts.
🎵 Luna Music opens its doors at 8am with special releases, hot dogs from Weiner Dreams and beer from Black Circle.
- Live music starts at noon featuring Mr.Kinetik, Afterglow, Radar Gold, Sirius Blvck & Drayco McCoy, Kevin Krauter, TV Buddha and Adam Graahs & Pan Am.
🤘 Irvington Vinyl and Books will be open from noon to 7pm. All used vinyl will be 30% off, and it will be BOGO for any records priced between $1 and $3.
🎸 Indy CD & Vinyl will be selling all of the Record Store Day titles starting at 8am, and there will be door prizes, ticket giveaways and a scavenger hunt for a $100 shop gift card.
- Live music next door in The 808 will be provided by Naptown Hepcats, Starcrusher, CORKEN, DJ Tarsis' Alternative Classix Video Dance Party and Grimey.
🐈⬛ Square Cat Vinyl opens at 8am with giveaway bags and coffee for the first 50 people in line, Long's doughnuts until they run out and free entry into a raffle to win prizes for the first 100 visitors.
- DysFUNKtion Brass Band will perform starting at 7:30am, and an open mic will be out front from noon to 3pm.
🤑 Both Karma Records locations open at 8am with limited edition releases, tote bags for the earliest customers and sales of up to 70% off.
🎤 Take Care Records is hosting its Unofficial Music Holiday Party starting at 10am with special deals and $1 sale items.
- Live music from Rusty Redenbacher Is Nasty Slim, Defame, Do-Re and NC starts at 3pm.
