Nextdoor ranks Indy's friendliest neighborhoods

How it works: Nextdoor built the rankings by analyzing interactions on the platform.

• They considered factors like the tone of neighbor posts, the frequency of fulfilled requests, how new members were welcomed and support of local businesses.

Caveat: Ranked neighborhoods are named after their respective Nextdoor communities and may have titles that differ from the traditional neighborhood names.

Zoom in: Home Place, 52nd/Mitthoeffer and Greater Garden City took the top three spots in the Indianapolis Metro.

• The rest of the top 10 includes King Estates/Forest Crest, Ben Davis, Liberty-Glen, The Admirals, Mars Hill, East Sobro and Speedway.

Zoom out: Indianapolis was snubbed on Nextdoor's top 20 ranking of Indiana's friendliest cities/towns.

• Rushville was No. 1, followed by Yorktown, Rossville, Nineveh and Huntertown.
