It's cold AF and there's little relief in sight.
Driving the winter blues: Below freezing temperatures are forecasted into next week, and tbh we're over it.
Yes, but: The Circle City offers myriad ways to warm up. Here are a few of our favorites.
🏊 With ResortPass, you can spend the day in the temperature-controlled bliss of the Conrad's spa.
- Heat up in the sauna, steam room or hot tub (or all three). There's also an indoor pool, fitness center and relaxation lounge.
- $75 for a day pass
🌴 The Garfield Park Conservatory is a warm, tropical paradise year-round.
- Take a break from winter as you stroll through palm trees, orchids and more.
- $5/person (closed on Mondays)
🥃 Hotel Tango will warm you inside and out. Sip a spicy, whiskey-forward cocktail like "Red Hots in a Box" while sitting around the Fletcher Place fave's large, stone fireplace.
🧖♀️ Sauna Social is a wood-burning sauna, inside a converted vintage school bus.
- Private, group and social sessions are available, starting at $20/hr.
- The bus parks at Gather 22, the Fall Creek Place neighborhood bar and restaurant.
😅 Sweathouz is designed to heat you up AND cool you down.
- Start with the 170-degree infrared sauna, then hop into the cold plunge, a tub of water cooled to around 50 degrees.
- Hop between the two during the hour-long session in your private suite.
- $60/hour
- Locations in Broad Ripple and Carmel are open now; locations planned for Mass Ave and Fishers.
🥵 Cryotherapy Indy, Perspire Sauna Studio and Indianapolis Salt Cave also offer private sauna sessions.
💪 Heat up on your own schedule at HOTWORX, where members get 24/7 access to infrared saunas equipped with virtual HIIT or isometric classes.
- First workout is free; membership required after.
- Five locations in the Indy metro area.
🔥 The Hot Room will have you working up a sweat in hour-long yoga and fitness classes heated to 95-105 degrees.
- $30 for a drop-in class
- Four locations in the Indy metro area.
🧘♀️ Other studios offering hot yoga classes include Invoke Yoga & Pilates Studio, The Yoga Studio, YogaSix and Fire and Flow Yoga.
