This weekend, gather the family for a free Butler University holiday tradition inside Clowes Memorial Hall.
Driving the news: The Butler Choral Department and Butler University Wind Ensemble are teaming up for two performances of Rejoice!, an annual presentation that showcases the talent of nearly 200 musicians.
- Students will play holiday favorites like "Joy to the World," "Do You Hear What I Hear," Bach's "Sleepers, Awake," "Sparklejollytwinklejingley" from Elf the Musical, Leroy Anderson's "Sleigh Ride" and Daniel Pinkham's "Christmas Cantata."
- Plus: If you want to take in the seasonal celebration without braving the looming winter storm, you can watch both shows from home via livestream.
If you go: 7:30pm Friday and Saturday.
- The performances are open to the public and no ticket is required.
