If you're staying in Indianapolis this Thanksgiving and want to leave the stress of preparing a traditional home-cooked feast to someone else, we've got you covered.
Zoom in: Here are 21 options to outsource dinner this year from Central Indiana restaurants and organizations.
- His Place Eatery: $145 gets you a dinner that serves 6-10 people. Place orders by 3pm Nov. 18 to pick up by 5pm on Nov. 26.
- Sahm's: A take-and-bake dinner that serves 6-8 people for $159. Place orders by midnight Nov. 23.
- Metro Diner: Order by Nov. 25 for a meal that feeds one for $17, four for $64 and eight for $126.
- Kountry Kitchen: Order by Nov. 23 for a feast with your choice of roasted turkey ($300) or glazed ham ($325) as an entree for 10-12 people.
- Cooper's Hawk: Adults dine-in for $37, children 12 and under for $16. Carry-out meals for $200 that serve six people must be placed by Nov. 21.
- The Oceanaire: A classic Thanksgiving dinner for $60 per guest or a two-course special with pecan turtle cheesecake for $80 per guest.
- Big Hoffa's: Craft your own Thanksgiving feast with entrees such as smoked turkey or smoked ham, to be picked Nov. 25 or Nov. 26.
- Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse: The steakhouse's "Thanksgiving features" being added to the menu this year are sweet potato casserole and pumpkin spice and bourbon butter cake.
- Seasons 52: Order by Nov. 24 for a to-go meal that serves 4-6 people for $230, or dine-in with a special Thanksgiving menu.
- Rick's Café Boatyard: Carry-out meals that feed four people for $175. Dine-in meals with a special menu are $33 per adult and $16 per child.
- Ruth's Chris Steakhouse: Adults dine in for $48, children for $20. Reservations required.
- Sullivan's Steakhouse: Host at home with a meal that serves five for $225, or 10 for $440. Adults dine in for $52, and kids eat for $25.
- Weber Grill: Three-course dinners served on Thanksgiving for $43 for adults, and $20 for kids under 12. Smoked turkey platters that feed 4-10 people range in price from $70 to $125.
- Cracker Barrel: The chain is serving up Thanksgiving meals that feed 4-6 people for $115 or 8-10 people for $185.
- The Capital Grille: Serve four people at home for $135 if you order by Nov. 25. Full menu available for dine-in.
- Bob Evans: Order by Nov. 25 for carry-out meals that serve 4-10 people for between $90 and $165. The rest of the menu, including breakfast, will be available for dine-in on Thanksgiving.
- Faith Community Church: The church will hand out a turkey dinner with sides to prepare on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 10am Nov. 22.
- Mount Pleasant Church: RSVP for a free hot meal from 3-6pm Nov. 26.
- BFA Turkey Day Giveaway: The 6th annual giveaway provides Thanksgiving dinner boxes to families in need, 1-3pm Nov. 24 at Garfield Park.
- Allisonville Christian Church: Hoosiers in need are welcome to travel to the church for a meal starting at 11am on Thanksgiving.
- Good Samaritan Network Holiday Assistance: From 9am-1pm Nov. 22, meals will be handed out at Hamilton County 4-H Fairgrounds.
