Brewing the news: Voodoo Brewing will open a bar and restaurant in The State at Fishers apartment development next month.
Fishers native David Rivotto is opening the franchise — the state's first Voodoo location — with his wife, Shayre, and has plans to open two more in the Indianapolis area.
The Pennsylvania-based brewery has locations in nine other states already and prides itself on pub management and "quirky" beers.
What to expect: Rivotto told the IBJ the restaurant will have a menu of "elevated pub" fare. In addition to Voodoo beer, they'll serve other local craft beers and seltzers and have a full bar.
What's next: Voodoo is set to open in the second week of September at 8729 Front St.
