Indiana State Fair attendance rises

By the numbers: 45,915 tickets were donated to Indianapolis Public Schools, library reading programs, community organizations and local nonprofits.

• 76,000 milkshakes were sold at the Dairy Bar.
• 32,773 cans of food were donated to Gleaners Food Bank via the CANstruction competition.
• 216 ears of corn were consumed during the inaugural Wilson's Corn Eating Contest.
• 1,600 pounds of cheddar was used to build the American Dairy Association Indiana's 19th annual "Grand Cheese Sculpture."

What's next: The 2026 Indiana State Fair starts on Aug. 7.

• A highlight will be "Rewind: A VHS Revival," an immersive new exhibit inspired by this year's popular Vinyl Revival attraction that aims to transport guests back to the golden era of video tape cassettes.
