Indianapolis International Airport has earned another accolade.
Driving the news: The Washington Post has named it one of the 10 best airports in the country in a new, comprehensive review of more than 450 airports that solicited nominations, prioritized reader feedback and scoured online reviews to find out what travelers actually value.
What they're saying: "We learned travelers adore airports that are easy to get to (and through) above all else," wrote the WaPo team that compiled the rankings. "People love light-filled spaces with soaring ceilings."
Zoom in: IND was ranked the eighth best American airport for its public art, large TSA checkpoints, local restaurants, simple layout and panoramic windows.
33 WaPo readers nominated IND as their favorite.
