Kan-Kan's new Japanese-inspired menu offers infinite options

The restaurant at the Kan-Kan Cinema switched up its menu last summer to now feature Japanese tavern–inspired fare.

What to order: The menu offers nearly infinite combinations of steamed buns and rice bowls.

Meat-free friends, we start with tofu.
Then, and here's the really exciting part, it's all about the sauces. There are six of them. You get one with each bun or bowl, but can add more for an upcharge.
I'm an unagi and yum yum sauce girlie, but the world is your oyster y'all.

Cost: $5 per bun and rice bowls start at $13.

The restaurant opens at 5pm daily and closes at 9pm Sunday-Thursday and 10pm Friday and Saturday.
