The Near Eastside is home to the city's newest coffee shop — and this one has a mission beyond keeping the Circle City caffeinated.
Driving the brews: Cafe Oztara opened last week on the Damien Center campus.
The coffee shop supports the Damien Center's mission of providing services, education and advocacy for people living with or at risk for HIV.
It will also host a skills development program for the center's clients to gain hands-on job training to pursue careers in hospitality, management and more.
Zoom in: Cafe Oztara's menu includes coffee, espresso-based drinks and tea.
Plus: It serves pastries and a small number of hot breakfast and lunch options.
If you go: 1446 E. Washington St.
Open 7am to 3pm Monday through Friday.
The cafe told Axios that Saturday hours are coming soon.
