Pascal Siakam's preseason adventures

Pacers' All-Star forward Pascal Siakam has been focused on taking his game to the next level in the offseason.

Yes, but: He is also developing his skills as a short-form filmmaker. 

Why it matters: This month Siakam launched an online series called "Indy With P" where he checks out iconic Circle City locations.

• The debut episode was about Siakam, a photography enthusiast, going to have some film developed at Roberts Camera.
• Episode two saw him running impromptu pickup games at the court outside Gainbridge Fieldhouse. 

Zoom in: The most recent episode — Siakam's first trip to Long's Bakery — ended with him candidly reflecting on his travels.

• He says filming the show has pushed him out of his comfort zone, but the people of Indianapolis have made it a positive experience.
• "It doesn't feel overwhelming. It doesn't feel like people are going to tower over you or be aggressive or things like that," he said. "It just seems like somebody's going to recognize you, give you your props real quick and move on. And to me, that's nice."
